Winter Skills - Ages 5-8 (in 2020)

June 22, 2019

Dear Parents,

The Wilmot Softball Association is now 2 years old and when the current executive first sat down, we discussed the importance of maintaining a strong program, not just at a competitive level but also at the recreational level. We understand the importance of developing talent at all levels which is why we have continued to run the spring clinic. We also offer a couple different pitching clinics in the spring each season.

The purpose of this letter is to reach out to the parents of our younger age groups (ages 5 thru 8 in 2020) to gauge interest in a winter player development program. The program would focus on basic skills, throwing, fielding, hitting, pitching, with some game play as they develop. At this current time, we do not know when this program would run other than it will most likely be on weekends and most likely Saturdays. There would a cost associated with this program and again we do not know what that would look like and we are asking for your feedback. It is possible these sessions would run Oct - Dec and January to March.

So here is what we need from this parent group:

If you would be interested in having your son or daughter participate in some softball skill development over the winter please complete this FORM.

The form will remain open and available until August 1st. We will return an email to all that provide feedback no later than August 31, 2019.

Please don’t forget to fill out your coach evaluation forms. Your feedback is required!

Thanks, and enjoy the remainder of the season.

Thanks to our Gold Diamond Sponsors!! Please support them as they support us!!
